Energia: utilizzo dei macronutrienti nello sport

I macronutrienti: carboidrati, grassi e proteine sono il combustibile dell’organismo ognuno con una sua caratteristica metabolica e tutti indispensabili per l’attività fisica. La quantità dell'alimentazione (bilancio energetico) è essenziale per il controllo del peso, ma per gli atleti e per chi pratica sport a livello amatoriale, altre alla quantità, è fondamentale la qualità dei macronutrienti perché influenzano la prestazione sportiva e il recupero.
